Day 1, Warsaw

Wow, You have come to Warsaw for start of Grand Tour of Poland. That’s better than Safari. Your fully licensed guide assistant is anxious to lead you during the adventure trip. Now quickly to your hotel.

Day 2, Warsaw

Buffet breakfast. Half day guided sightseeing tour of  Warsaw including Old Town (UNESCO - List), Royal Route, Church of the Holy Cross, the Ghetto Memorial and Łazienki. At afternoon exciting excursion to Wilanów Palace and park - the Baroque residence of King Jan III Sobieski. Full of emotion you are back to your hotel for overnight.
But if you wish to feel Warsaw atmosphere deeper we suggest addition attractions  optionally:

  • Visit to The Royal Castle
  • Champagne Reception and Chopin’s Music Concert in Szustra Palace
  • Folklore dinner in a restaurant

Day 3, Warsaw – Gdańsk

Buffet breakfast. Start of  travel to Gdańsk via Malbork. In Malbork you will visit the castle (UNESCO - List) built in the 13th - 15th centuries by the Knights of the Teutonic Order. Once more look, final photos and you continue journey to Gdańsk for overnight at your hotel.

Day 4, Gdańsk

Breakfast. Meeting with the Tri-City – Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia – during organized sightseeing with highlights:

  • Royal Way in Gdansk including the Town Hall, the Artus Court, the Neptune Fountain and the Old Crane
  • Organ concert in Oliwa Cathedral
  • Sopot where you can step into the longest sea pier in Europe
  • Gdynia

Overnight in your hotel.
If you have not enough impressions for this day we may organize optionally:

  • Dinner with music, folklore and cuisine of Kaszuby in a local restaurant
  • Dinner (fish–menu) at the famous „Pod Łososiem” restaurant in Gdansk.

Day 5, Gdańsk - Poznań

Buffet breakfast. Seaside is behind us. Now travelling  more to south - to Poznań through Toruń. Toruń is the historic city mainly famous for Mikołaj Kopernik (Nicolas Copernicus) You have no option than to see there the Old Town and the Kopernik Museum in the house where he was born. Transfer to Poznań. It is too late for additional attractions today so overnight at your hotel.

Day 6, Poznań – Wrocław

Breakfast. You can face Poznań during sightseeing  – Poznań is a city of international trade fairs – and it has the Old Town with Renaissance Town Hall and the Ostrów Tumski Island. You will visit the magnificent cathedral and the Royal Chapel. And finally down the map to Wrocław for overnight at your hotel.

Day 7, Wrocław - Częstochowa

Buffet breakfast. City tour  of the Old Town in Wroclaw and Ostrów Tumski  with the Town Square, the Town Hall, the Aula Leopoldina – one of the most beautiful Baroque halls in Poland, the St John’s cathedral and Centennial Hall (UNESCO - List) in Szczytnicki Park. From Wroclaw to Częstochowa, again a little towards north for overnight at your hotel in Częstochowa.

Day 8, Częstochowa – Auschwitz – Cracow

After breakfast time for religious experiences or at least meeting with history and art. During visit to the Pauline Monastery of Jasna Góra, which includes the Icon of Our Lady – the Black Madonna. The day is full o seriousness and meditation. Now you visit the Memorial Museum in Auschwitz - Birkenau – former the largest of all Nazi extermination camps. Lost in thought you move to Cracow for overnight at your hotel.

Day 9, Cracow

Buffet breakfast. City tour of Cracow including:

  • the Old Market Square
  • the St. Mary’s Church with the famous altar carved in wood by Stwosz Altar
  • the Cloth Hall
  • the Wawel Hill.

For more impression we highly recommend optionally:

  • Guided tour Wawel Cathedral

During afternoon something what you, most probably, have not seen before and you have chance during excursion to Wieliczka for a tour of salt mine (UNESCO - List).
When you come back to Cracow we propose to replace typical dinner with one of optional versions:

  • Dinner with music in Jewish restaurant in Kazimierz
  • Folklore dinner with typical Polish cuisine in local restaurant

Day 10, Departure

Breakfast. The end of tour. But there is still in Poland plenty of places where you should be in the nearest future. We are waiting for your next visit.

The Central regions of Poland – Mazovia and Great Poland – are the treasury of fascinating Monuments and exciting scenery. Warsaw – the Capital of Poland – modern and dynamic City. Barbarously ruined and then reconstructed from ruins. Now becoming the European metropolis with full typical splendor. Poznań and its neighborhood attract the attention of funs of monuments, nature and traditional Grand Poland menu.

Day 1, arrival to Warsaw

Arrival to Warsaw. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in and overnight.

Day 2, two palaces — two chapters of history

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing in Warsaw including the Old Town (UNESCO - List), walking to the main market and visiting the Historical museum. Then sightseeing of chambers of the Royal castle. Walking alongside the Royal Route towards the Center of the City. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3, parks, gardens and Chopin music

After breakfast travel to Wilanów and sightseeing of Palace and park – the residence of King Jan II Sobieski, the winner of Vienna battle. Then drive to Lazienki Park – the most beautiful park in Warsaw, with the Palace on Island and the monument of Chopin. In the afternoon music concert at Szustra palace with champagne reception. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4, Żelazowa Wola - Poznań

Breakfast. On the way to Poznan visit to Chopin family home in Zelazowa Wola. Also on the way to Poznan next stopover – in Gniezno. Overnight at the hotel in Poznan.

Day 5, Poznań - the main city of Grand Poland

After breakfast the sightseeing of the city. The main monuments of this excellent city are the Renaissance Town Hall at the main market of the Old Town. Driving to the famous brewery we shall see also the marvelous park Malta with boat-race running track. Visiting of the Brewery and tasting of local beer. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6, diamonds of Grand Poland – Kórnik and Rogalin

Buffet breakfast. Visiting of Rogalin with a palace and park built in late-Baroque style, with excellent very old oaks. Visit to Kórnik, where the most famous and most visited place in Wielkopolska is located. Farewell dinner at the hotel restaurant – The Grand Poland menu at the top level – a feast with beer or even a with a drop of stronger liquor.

Day 7, leave-taking with Poznań and departure

Buffet breakfast. Departure.

Day 1, Gdańsk / Gdynia

Arrival to Gdańsk / Gdynia. Meeting with licensed guide assistant. Hotel check-in. Eventual short walk through the city centre. Overnight.

Day 2, Sopot - Gdynia - Gdańsk - Oliwa

Buffet breakfast. Sightseeing of Tri-City: Gdynia, Sopot and Gdańsk-Oliwa. Gdynia is especially worth recommending to those who love modernist architecture. Continue to Sopot and Gdańsk-Oliwa – also a recommended place due to the charming Oliwa Cathedral where magnificent organ concerts take place. Back to hotel for overnight.

Day 3, Gdańsk

Buffet breakfast. Full day excursion – next part of the Tri-City story – history and architecture in Gdansk. Overnight at hotel.
Optionally more special:
dinner (fish–menu) at the famous „Pod Łososiem” restaurant in Gdańsk
dinner with music, folklore and cuisine of Kaszuby in a local restaurant

Day 4, Malbork - Elblag Canal - Frombork

Buffet breakfast. Full day excursion including visit to the largest Gothic castle in Europe in Malbork (UNESCO – List). Then boat-cruise from Buczyniec on the Elbląg Canal. The 80 kilometers long Elbląg Canal is known as a wonder of hydraulic engineering technology. Coming to Elbląg, sightseeing of the town. Then visit in Frombork with the cathedral hill. Here Mikołaj Kopernik (Nicolaus Copernicus) lived and worked for many years, and died. Return to Gdynia for overnight at hotel.

Day 5, Gdansk - Kashub - Szczecin

Breakfast. Visiting of the ceramics factory in Chmielno (the possibility of purchase of unique regional products at the special prices). Then drive to Kartuzy and sightseeing of the Church previously belonging to the Closter. Transfer to Szczecin – the biggest city in the north-west part of Poland. Check-in at hotel. Eventual short walk through the City. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6, Szczecin

Buffet breakfast. Sightseeing of the City – guided tour. There are the following interesting places which could be taken into consideration: Zamek Ksiazat Pomorskich (The Pomeranian Prince’s Castle) and its tower, Wały Chrobrego – promenade with great views on Odra river and port and Katedra św. Jakuba – big gothic cathedral. Visit to famous „Polmos”-distillery and tasting of unique product – „Starka”– the most distinguished Polish vodka with a five hundred year long tradition.
Back to hotel for overnight.

Day 1, Gdańsk

Arrival to Gdańsk. Meeting with licensed guide assistant. Hotel check–in and overnight.

Day 2, Gdańsk

Buffet breakfast. Sightseeing of the Tri-City – Gdańsk - Sopot - Gdynia. Sightseeing in Gdańsk. Next drive to Oliwa – also a recommendable place due to the charming Oliwa Cathedral where magnificent organ concerts take place. Then visiting of Sopot with the longest sea pier and Gdynia. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 3, Gdańsk – Malbork – Elbląg Canal

Return to Gdańsk for overnight at hotel.

Day 4, Gdansk –The Masurian Lakes

Buffet breakfast and departure to the Great Masurian Lakes via Frombork and Lidzbark Warmiński. Frombork located on the Vistula Lagoon is known as the city of Nicolas Copernicus. The city sightseeing with among others the massive Cathedral. Visit to the bishops’ Palace in Lidzbark Warmiński - a residence of the Warmia bishops until mid 19th c. Short sightseeing of Olsztyn. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5, The Great Masurian Lakes

Buffet breakfast. Full day excursion including the famous Baroque Basilica of Święta Lipka and organ concert, visit to the Wolf’s Lair – Hitler’s headquarters at Gierłoż, the bishops’ castle in Reszel, Giżycko and Mikołajki - in summer the capital of The Great Masurian Lakes. Overnight at your hotel.
Optionally less formal dinner: barbecue with regional dishes, beer and music.

Day 6, The Great Masurian Lakes

Breakfast. Full day excursion including visit Old Believer’s monastery in Wojnowo and the Krutynia River - the most beautiful kayaking route in Poland. Then the boat-cruise from Ruciane to Mikołajki along the biggest of Masurian Lakes – Śniardwy.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 7, Masurian Lakes - Białystok - Białowieża

Buffet breakfast. Departure to Bialystok. City is located in Northeastern Poland near the Byelorussia and Lithuanian borders. The city is also famous for its brand of Żubrówka (Bison Grass) Vodka, and the district which is still home to many bison not far from. Before World War II, Bialystok’s population was more than 60 percent Jewish, giving it the highest concentration of Jews of any city in the world. Sightseeing of the city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8, The forest land of Bison

Buffet breakfast. Travel to highlights of the forest land. Białowieża National Park (UNESCO – List) is a very interesting place, situated in the eastern part of Poland, just by the border with Byelorussia. It’s the last natural, low–lying forest and kingdom of the biggest mammal – bison. You can see there bisons, deers, wolves and elks. The Special Protection Area there is unique since its tree formations have been growing without human interference. It is a forest which has never been cut down in its entire history and no human hand has planted any tree in it. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9, Warsaw

Buffet breakfast and travel to Warsaw. Half day guided sightseeing tour of Warsaw including Old Town (UNESCO – List), Royal Route, Church of the Holy Cross, the Ghetto Memorial and Łazienki Park.Overnight at hotel.
Optionally: Folklore dinner in a restaurant

Day 10, departure

Buffet breakfast. Departure.
